Location
The subject woods are located in the enviable position of Coed Deunant just off the A5 a few miles north of Betws y Coed.

Betws y Coed is situated in North Wales and ideally placed on the eastern edge of Snowdonia National Park which is a major attraction for walkers, climbers, anglers and cyclists.

Description
Rarely available south facing broadleaf mixed ancient woodland of approximately 3.5 acres. These south facing woods are ideal for camping, forestry management, gathering wood for eco projects or fuel, or just enjoying the wildlife.

Within the woodland has a carpet of bluebells in the spring and a vast variety of wildlife and plants, a number of natural springs rise towards the northern end, and a stream runs along its eastern boundary.

With easy vehicular access and parking directly off the A5, Coed Deunant Will provide years of secluded pleasure for camping or many other eco pastimes. It’s also an ideal central location from which to explore the surrounding countryside and attractions and is within easy walking distance of the Marin trail and Llyn Geirionydd.

Directions & Access
From Betws-y-Coed head north along the A5. After approximately two and a half miles the road turns to the right crossing over a bridge. Immediately after the bridge you will see an old house with a sign saying Ty Hyll – The Ugly House, continue along the A5 for around half a mile. You will see a wooden gate on the right, Please park where it is safe to do so, without blocking the access. Climb the gate into the woodland , Coed Deunant is ahead of you and on the left.

Boundaries
The north and northwest boundary is the plain wire fence or stone wall between the woodland and agricultural field. The northeast boundary is the edge of the stream.
The east boundary is marked by trees with orange paint. The southern boundary is the boundary between the A5 and the woodland. The west boundary is the plain wire fence.

Rights of Way
There is a right of way is granted for Coed Deunan. A shared maintenance clause covers this right of way. There are no public rights of way in this woodland.
