Administrator (Retail & Luxury Assets)

Job Description:


To manage the administration of the Luxury Assets auction cycle from receipt of assets to post-auction reconciliation. There will also be a requirement to be a front-line point of contact for customer enquiries and administration duties for our busy Retail division.

Tasks will include but not be limited to:
• Meeting and greeting customers and clients
• Communicating with customers and clients via email, telephone and in-person
• Responding to general auction queries
• Verifying new bidder registrations by email and by telephone
• Chasing payments for outstanding invoices
• Cancelling and recording any unpaid invoices
• Balancing on-line payments
• Utilising in-house systems to verify customers details and conclude auction sales
• Preparing spreadsheets and correspondence
• Taking cash and card payments and balancing these
• Front of house management, providing a professional and welcoming environment for all site visitors during Luxury public viewings
• Following administrative procedures for Luxury stock movement, internal and external
• Picking and packing Luxury assets ready for customer, Royal Mail or courier collection
• Providing condition reports for Luxury customers

Skills required
• Detail oriented communication and organisation skills.
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate with a variety of people.
• Ability to manage and prioritise workload in a fast paced, evolving and unpredictable working environment.
• Flexibility to undertake additional tasks within the business if required

Business Development Executive

Job Description:


To be responsible for the front-line sales for the Luxury Assets department of John Pye Auctions, supporting the National Business Development Manager and Head of Luxury Assets in the acquisition of new customers for the department, and the cross-selling of other products and services offered by all John Pye Auctions (JPA) departments.

Tasks will include but not be limited to:
• Identifying new sales leads
• Pitching the services of JLA to new potential clients both over the phone, and in person
• Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets
• Researching the needs of other companies and learning who makes decisions about liquidation of assets
• Meeting and exceeding personal sales targets
• Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings
• Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives together with the JPLA Client Account Executive
• Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations and sales displays
• Contacting prospects to inform them about new developments in the company’s products
• Developing quotes and commercial proposals
• Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person

Provide a front line support for the handling/management of auction assets through lot allocation (auction set-up) to final dispatch and or collection.

• Ensure all aspects of Health, Safety and Environment polices are observed at all times
• Assist auction viewing by helping customers with enquiries
• Support marketing by capturing digital images and lot description for previews
• Comply with all employment policies specifically Data Protection
• Undertake other duties assigned by the Salesroom Manager/Supervisor

Qualifications: No specific qualifications are required however excellent customer care and a ‘can-do’ attitude are essential, as are good communications. Attention to detail and complete confidentiality are also required.
Working conditions: The role is warehouse and or vehicle pound based requiring the wearing of personal protective equipment at all times.

Email Marketing Executive

Job Description:


We’re hiring an email marketing executive to be the biggest supporter of our existing contact lists. The days of email blasts and spamming are over. In its place, we want you to understand the right nurture tracks to provide incremental value and nudge our leads toward sale in a way that feels human, and converts. You should also understand the right types of content to send to the right people at the right time, both for lead nurturing and to boost the sharing and forwarding of our content-driven emails.

Responsibilities:
● Manage and build various email lists and campaigns, including the design templates, calls-to-action, and content used in your email sends.
● Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions (content downloads, site page visits, etc.).
● Measure results and optimise the nurture tracks for these segments to convert leads to customers.
● Work to minimise list decay and unsubscribes while increasing productivity of our email sends.
● Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.

Requirements:
● BA/BS or equivalent working experience. A minimum of 3 years email marketing experience within a commercial business environment.
● Past experience with email marketing, lead nurturing, marketing automation, and/or web analytics.
● Proficient using platforms and marketing automation technology.
● Highly analytical and able to derive meaning from data through A/B testing and email optimisation.
● Excellent writer and communicator – both written and verbal.
