John Pye & Sons Limited (“the promoter”) – Uttoxeter Cracker Night Prize Draw Terms and Conditions 2025
The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
The prize draw is free to enter. Entrants are not required to have made a purchase from John Pye & Sons to enter.
To enter, entrants must take a photo of themselves (a ‘selfie’) wearing the promotional John Pye Auctions Santa hat in attendance at the Uttoxeter Cracker Night event on the 11th of December 2025. The John Pye Auctions logo on the hat must be visible in the photo for the submission to be valid. Submissions must be posted to the entrant’s Instagram story or feed, tagging @johnpyeofficial in their submission (“Submission”). Only one entry per person is permitted.
The opening date for entries is 5:30pm on 11.12.25. The closing date of the prize draw is 12:00pm on 12.12.25. Entries received after this time will not be accepted.
The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries not successfully completed due to a technical fault technical malfunction, computer hardware or software failure, satellite, network or server failure of any kind.
Three winners will be chosen by an online random number generator which will be cross referenced with an entry spreadsheet containing all entries on 12.12.25 (“Draw Date”).
The first drawn winner will receive a Sony PlayStation 5 Console 1TB
The second drawn winner will receive a Ninja Air Fryer Max Pro 6.2L
The third drawn winner will receive a LEGO Santa’s Sleigh model kit 40499
The winners will be notified by Instagram direct message before 15.12.25 and must provide a full UK mail address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 24 hours of being notified by the Promoter, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
Provided each winner has given their current UK address to the Promoter and agreed with them a time for delivery, each prize will be dispatched to the respective winners via the Promoter’s nominated delivery carrier within five days of being notified of their wins. The delivery date and estimated time slot will be agreed between the Promoter and the winner. At the point of delivery, the prize-winner will need to sign to accept delivery of their prize.
The prizes for the winners are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
The prizes are supplied by John Pye & Sons Ltd. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prizes with alternative prizes of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
By entering the prize draw, you grant the Promoter permission to publish the Submission on websites and social media accounts owned or managed by the Promoter including but not limited to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, X (formerly twitter), Vimeo, and TikTok. The Promoter may also display some or all of the Image at sporting events it sponsors and at its premises on both static and electronic displays. The Promoter may publish the image for auditing purposes, tender applications or as supporting evidence for accreditations (Permitted Activities) in the United Kingdom for marketing and developing its business and in relation to ESG (Environmental Social Governance) activities (Permitted Purposes).
You agree to the Promoter storing copies of the Submission for as long as necessary to fulfil the Permitted Purposes and storing your contact details on its database in case it needs to contact you.
The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails marketing@johnpye.com or writes to Marketing Team, John Pye & Sons Ltd, James Shipstone House, Radford Road, Nottingham, NG7 7EA (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated above. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter marketing@johnpye.com In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winners or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
