“On the 14th April 2014, I will be starting to walk 192 miles from St Bees, dipping my toes in the Irish sea, and collecting a pebble, on to Robins Hoods Bay, where I will also dip my toes in the North Sea this time, and throwing the pebble in! (Coast to Coast tradition)”
“I will be following in the footsteps of Alfred Wainwright .The route passes through three contrasting national parks: the Lake District National Park, the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and the North York Moors National Park.
I will be doing this to raise funds for John Pye and Sons chosen Charity, “The Rainbows Children’s Hospice – www.rainbows.co.uk“.”My aim is to raise as much money as possible for this worthy, and hardworking Charity.”(Please visit their website to view all the good work they do.)
I hope you can show your support to The Rainbow Charity, with some sort of donation, however small.
The intention is to finish at Robin Hoods Bay 25th April 2014, sign the Coast to Coast register, both legs attached, and half a stone lighter in weight!
Thanks in advance, for your support.”
