Nottingham Forest’s new sponsors, John Pye Auctions, are introducing a brand new half time competition to give fans the opportunity to test their skills and nerves on the City Ground pitch – with the chance to win some great prizes.
It’s called the ‘Garibaldi Golden Goal Gamble’ and starting just 18 yards out the competitor will be challenged to put the ball into the empty net with the chance to win a prize. If successful, they will then be asked if they wish to gamble that prize and attempt to score from 25 yards for a more impressive reward.
If successful from all three distances (18 yards, 25 yards and 40 yards) they will then have the ultimate challenge of scoring from 55 yards (the ‘Pye-in-the-Sky’ marker) for the chance to win the grand prize of a top-of-the-range TV.
We’ve teamed up with Notts’ very own Pollyanna Woodward, presenter of Chanel 5′s The Gadget Show, to launch the ‘Garibaldi Golden Goal Gamble’ and with a little extra help from Forest’s No. 1 keeper, Lee Camp. Watch their demo of the Garibaldi Golden Goal Gamble above to see it played out in action.
This challenge is for current season ticket holders and any fans who have recently bought a ticket and have a NFFC client reference number only. If you would like to be considered please fill in the form on the right of this page stating why you should be selected, along with your NFFC client reference number and you will be entered into the Garibaldi Golden Goal Gamble ballot. Good luck!
