Details below on common auction typesLive Auctions:- Live Auctions are held every Monday 10am with sameday viewing from 8am to 10am. All bidding is live/in-person with those people attending first registering at our pay offices and leaving a £100 refundable Cash Only deposit. This will secure all bids made throughout the day and can be refunded at any time if no bids made of outstanding invoice settled.
Online Auctions:- Online Auctions are held every week alternating between saleroom 3 (being mainly repossessed bankruptcy & Liquidation assets plus vehicles) and Saleroom 4 (consisting of ex-display, end of line & retail returns).
These on-line auctions require on-line registration with staggered end-times
running over several minutes or hours.
On-Site Auctions:- On-site auctions are held at the premises of the previous company eg. factories, warehouses and business units. Bidding usually takes place online. Full details will be given of locations along with strict viewing times.
Closed Tender Auctions:- ie. Sealed Bids. Lots are presented in the same fashion as other Auctions but the bidding process will instead require bidders to enter their bid amount (usually on-line) with the highest bid (above any possible reserves/unpaid finance etc) being the winning bid.
Viewing / Testing
Q) Are there additional charges?
A) All lots are subect to the additon of V.A.T (unless otherwise stated) plus
an additional Buyers Premium (15% to 20%) incurred on the invoice total.
Q) Where do goods come from?
A) Assets originate from many sources including retail returns, bankrupt stocks, and repossesed assets. Clients from
high street retailers, banks & finance companies to insolvency practitioners
Q) How do I know if a particular lot is any good or is working?
A) All goods are Sold as Seen, with no gaurantees or warranties and include used items and retail returns - With this in mind physical viewing of all lots is strongly recommend with public viewing available for all our auctions.
Q) How can I test them?
A) Vehicles can be started and there are electrical points throughout ours salerooms to test electrical products.
Staff also plug in many devices from plasma TVs to computers - If your are unable to test or view items to your own satisfaction then please do not bid.
Live Auctions

Q) How do I bid at a live auction?
A) To obtain a bidding number and secure any bids made during one of our live public auction will initialy require a fully refundable £100 cash only deposit along with the completion of a simple registration form.
Q) I've never been to a auction before, will I buy anything by accident?
A) That's a common fear but a misplaced one. It's only really in TV comedies where people scratch their nose and it's taken as a bid but as all goods are Sold as Seen careful prior viewing is strongly recommended
Q) What if I don't buy anything, do I get my £100 cash deposit back?
A) Yes. Just hand in your bidding card at any time during the sale and we'll refund you your cash. There is no minimum purchase required.
Absentee Bids
Q) What are commission bids?
A) Commission bids is the term used for absentee bids. If your are physically unable to attend a live auction (ie. our twice weekly sales) A commission bid will be considered by the auctioneers as the maximum hammer price.
Q) How do I leave commission bids?
A) If you are physically attending our salerooms during viewing times (typicaly 8am to 10am) but unable to stay throughout the bidding, then you can complete commission forms in person at our pay office.
Q) Can I leave bids without attending?
A) On-line commission bidding is only enabled for full members who when attending our premises sign up for bidding in the usual manner but leave a £100 cash only deposit to secure any future absentee/commission bids made on-line against future live sales.
